Summary of Who Moved My Cheese
Who Moved My Cheese?
Long ago, 4 characters lived inside a table in a distant land. Two of them were rats and their names were Sniff and Scurry. The remaining two were humans, but the same size as the rat and their names were Hem and Haw.
Sniff and Scurry were straightforward rats with good behavior. Both used to search, sniff and scurry for cheese all day as all the rats do. Whereas Hem and Howe had a slightly more complex brain like humans. There were emotions in him and his billions too. The thing was as beautiful for them as it was for mice. Because they were equally happy seeing the thing.
Every morning, rats and small humans were ready to wear their running shoes. They used to come out of their small holes and go around looking for something. The table was filled with twists and turns, which did not know how many doors and chambers were there. There were things inside some chambers and some were very dark and empty where anyone could go their way. There were many such secrets inside this blunder that if someone finds it, then his life could be filled with happiness. Sniff and Scurry used trial and error during their search. He would have entered a corridor, if it had been empty then he would have returned and would have gone ahead. They used to notice which corridor is empty and would start looking for new ones. But the Hem and How complex were brainy ones, so their vision of looking at things was also complex. Often their emotions and bailiffs used to dominate them. And so his search was also more challenging and complex. But those four had their own ways of reaching the cheese station.
This was the place where heaps of cheese were kept. After finding this treasure of cheese, sniff, scurry, hem and haw were living life according to their routine. Sniff and Scary used to get up early in the morning. He used to run to Station C wearing his running shoes. After reaching there, both of them took off their shoes and took them in the leg around their neck so that they could wear them again quickly. After that eat sniff and scurry cheese. Hem and How were somewhat different in this case. Both used to get up late in the morning and go to station C while doing slow speech. He was in no hurry because he knew that he would always find a treasure there. Upon reaching station C, both would rest a little, there would be a little relay. Both wore their sleepers after taking off their shoes. After all such a treasure of such a big thing that was present for them, then what did they talk about soon.
"How wonderful, this thing will last a lifetime," Hem said. Both of those little humans used to be cool in themselves. Both of them were happy, successful. Both used to feel secure with the treasure of that thing. Hem and Howe had established their world near Station C. Both found some new holes on the same so that they could always be close to the thing. He was sure that station C belonged only to him. He wrote on the walls there, "Heaving cheese makes you happy". Everyday both these lines read and would be happy. "This thing belongs to us, we deserves it, we have worked hard to find it" Hem would say and would pick up a big piece of cheese and fill it in a happy mouth. When he ate his food, he used to sleep. And the end of the day little people, that is, hemp and haw, would return to their holes after eating a full stomach. Then the next day would arise with complete confidence and follow this routine.
They knew that a lot of things still exist for them. As the days passed, Hem and Howe were becoming more and more aerogent. The same sniff and scree would wake up early in the morning. Both of them sniffed and went to station C. Both always used to check what changes have come there. Then both of them used to sit comfortably and eat cheese. One morning, when the two rats reached the station C, they saw that the whole thing was over. The two were not surprised at all because they had been noticing for a long time that the heap of cheese was slowly getting smaller. Both were already ready for this situation. Sniff and Scurry put their running shoes back on, it didn't take them long to understand what happened. This problem was as simple as this for mice, as well as its answer. The station had been changed and now they had to change accordingly. Both the rats set out to find something else inside the table. Sniff kept sniffing and scurrying. A few hours later Hem and Howe also arrived inside Station C. However, both of them had never noticed sniff and scarry that the pile of cheese is getting smaller. Therefore, both were shocked when they did not get the thing.
"what is this? There is nothing here, ”Hem shouted. "Not a cheese, not a cheese? Who took my cheese? Hem was constantly screaming as if shouting like this would get his thing back. His face was turning red with anger. His mutt was tied and he was strangled. It was shouting "This is not fair!". Howe stood silently staring. He was not feeling so much that everything disappeared overnight. He had absolutely no hope that one day it would happen. There was nothing ready for the situation. Hem was screaming loudly, but nothing could be heard from Howe. The reaction of those little humans was completely normal because the treasure was over for them. Cheese was not just food for him but security and happiness. Cheese meant for him one day his own cottage in Cheddar Lane, a Loving Family and Simple Sea life. And for Hem, cheese meant Superiority. His dream was that One day he manages a big cheese and has a big house in Camembert Hill.
